All 3 of my children went to Homerton and it was a lovely, nurturing environment. As with anything it's not 100% perfect but any issues I had were taken seriously and dealt with really well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely nursery experience.

The School is full of surprises. Went to do a GCSE and came out seeing 12 horses a dog 14 caravans and a topless 6 year old on a quad bike. Highlight of my 5 years at the school

Best campsite I’ve been too, really great to see happy children playing with animals, forgetting about the good old days with all this social media Would definitely recommend for my fellow gypsys ! Ps the grass is very good so your horses will be happy;)

Independent Schools

Landmark International School

9 Church Ln, Fulbourn, Cambridge CB21 5EP, UK – 01223 755100

What a wonderful warm welcome we received from all staff when we recently visited this new international school. The teaching staff are well experienced and extremely motivated to provide all round care, compassion and educational excellence. Nothing is too much trouble...if your child needs mother-tongue language lessons, this can be arranged. The students were delightful, polite and confident. A super school with a different homely atmosphere, highly recommended.

Fantastic School ! Set in the lovely village of Fulbourn , the staff are great as is everything about the school. It is a new School but is already gaining a reputation for being one of the best in the region.

Cambridge Steiner School

Hinton Rd, Fulbourn CB21 5DZ, UK – 01223 882727

We returned to the Cambridge Steiner School from the USA where my four boys had been studying at a Steiner (Waldorf) school for 10 years and loved every day of it. My eldest finished at 18 and is now at UC Berkeley in California, and my second is at Hills Road 6th Form, Cambridge, and wants to study engineering at university . Now it is just my youngest (10 years old) who is at the Cambridge Steiner School , and the year has flown by with a wonderful set of teachers, inspired curriculum (which, as a teacher as well as a parent I have looked into), school field trips, and of course the music, singing, crafts, and two foreign languages Steiner pupils all engage in. All my boys have turned out interested in all the subjects - both sciences and arts, and have grown into happy, mature, well-informed, and caring individuals . The Cambridge Steiner school is still growing so classes are small, parents know each other well and participate in the community life of the school. The Steiner School is situated within cycling distance of Cambridge, and there is a school bus that picks children up at various different sites around the city. Close to the school is the village of Fulbourn and the Fulbourn Nature Reserve. One afternoon every week, the children walk with their teacher to the woods to explore, to play games and to have an outdoor lesson.

Cambridge International School

Cherry Hinton Hall Lodge, Cherry Hinton Rd, Cambridge CB1 8DW, UK – 01223 416938

Arguably one of the friendliest and approachable private schools in Cambridge. Teachers and parents alike are welcoming and engaged, which in turn provides a great school for little ones. The facilities are modern and recently refurbished. Set in the heart of Cherry Hinton Hall/Park the children benefit from being so close to the lush gardens and outdoor landscape. Although the school has had its fair share of bad luck, I believe it has steadily gained its momentum to create an international, open and inclusive school under the leadership of Mrs P Mills. I am truly pleased we choose the school for our three kids, who all attend the junior school. Our three kids enjoy going to school, love learning and speak highly of their teachers.

We moved our children here after a long stint abroad, and I am happy to say that with the new Head, the school is going from strength to strength. The new refurb is beautiful, and the environment friendly and welcoming. The amount my children have learned this past year has been quite incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school, it had a few hurdles to overcome when we first arrived, but with Mrs Mills now firmly in charge it really does feel like a true International School.

Cherry Hinton C Of E Primary School

High St, Cambridge CB1 9HH, UK – 01223 568834

My daughter attended the nursery for two years and is currently attending Reception. I am very satisfied with the care, teaching and friendly team. The school is small, which is good for children and parents. A few years ago, my friends recommended this school to me.

Ridgefield Primary School

Radegund Rd, Cambridge CB1 3RJ, UK – 01223 712418

3 of our children have gone (2 still at) Ridgefield. It is an excellent school. What makes Ridgefield special is the community of teachers and parents. People care and this really shows in the level of attention they provide to the children both academically and personally. As a parent it's quite strange in a way, to leave the people you love the most with others everyday and entrust those others to nurture your children. I can only say that I am grateful that this is what the teaching team of Ridgefield have done for our children. They have had highs and lows (as all children do) but its how they have been dealt with which has impressed me the most.

I love this place because it is a fun place

Spanish Tutor Cambridge

I think Luisa is the best Spanish tutor in Cambridge. She has helped me learn so much for the C1 DELE examination. She also speaks English at an amazingly high level, so I know I can learn very quickly with her. Her classes are very well prepared, and I gain a great deal from her imaginative lessons. I am an English teacher, and I have akso learned a great deal about the art of teaching from her. Why haven't I given her 5 stars? Well, nobody's perfect... Not even me!😀
